Where Healing Goes Deeper
Functional medicine + bodywork rooted in trust, compassion, and the belief that you are the expert on your own body.
Who We Are
Ripple Health + Healing started as a space to bring people back to themselves.
When one person actually comes home to themselves, the ripple reaches outward—to families, communities, and everyone around them.
After years of watching how disconnected health care had become—symptoms here, stress there—I wanted to build something different. Healing isn’t just physical or emotional; it’s both. The body, mind, and emotions are part of the same story, and that story deserves to be heard, not managed.
After helping hundreds of people out of chronic pain through massage therapy, I noticed a pattern: people would feel better…then hit a damn wall. That plateau wasn’t a fluke. Beyond muscle tension, there were gut imbalances, hormone shifts, and nervous system patterns quietly keeping people stuck.
Functional medicine gave me the language for what I’d already been sensing: the body’s stories run deep, and no single system heals alone.
Ripple is the result of that integration—a space where you can be seen as a whole person, not a collection of symptoms. It’s where science and story come together to help you heal from the inside out and the outside in.
How We Work
At Ripple, we work with your body and your story, helping you understand what’s really going on so healthier choices feel natural, not exhausting.
Many of our clients come to us struggling with:
Chronic fatigue
Brain fog or difficulty concentrating
Mood swings, anxiety, or irritability
Digestive issues: bloating, constipation, diarrhea, or food sensitivities
Hormonal imbalances: irregular cycles, low libido, hot flashes, or stubborn weight
Muscle tension, chronic pain, or recurring headaches
Stress that never seems to turn off
Feeling like “all the right things” still aren’t working
Depending on your needs, we may use functional medicine to uncover root causes in digestion, hormones, energy, and immunity.
We may also offer hands-on bodywork to release tension, improve movement, and support your nervous system. These are optional tools—not a one-size-fits-all formula—but each helps you understand your body so you can make choices that truly support your health.
Every plan is completely personalized. We will never re-use a protocol, because no two bodies or stories are the same.
We move at your pace. No rushing, no perfection required. Healing takes time, but it becomes easier when you understand your body and how to work with it.
Our work is collaborative, curious, and compassionate. You lead, we guide. You come as you are—we’ll meet you there.
We don’t just treat symptoms, we trace the signals your body is sending. Every ache, flare, or digestive upset is a clue to what your body truly needs.
Meet Katie Brewer, MS, LMT
Founder of Ripple Health + Healing
Katie blends years of clinical bodywork with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and a Master’s in Human Nutrition & Functional Medicine.
After helping people move out of chronic pain, she realized lasting healing goes deeper than muscle tension—it’s about the nervous system, the body’s deep physiology, and the stories your body holds.
She created Ripple Health + Healing to integrate these worlds, combining hands-on work with functional medicine so people can reconnect with their bodies and rebuild trust in their own healing.
Katie’s approach is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and collaboration, guiding each person at their own pace toward lasting transformation. She doesn’t claim to have all the answers, which is why she works closely with other practitioners in the area—each in their own zone of genius—so clients get the support they truly need.
Katie is rooted in New Albany, IN, with her wife, two daughters, and their two dummy love bugs—a Golden Retriever + a Husky.
She loves being close enough to Louisville to stay active and adventurous, while enjoying a small-town pace that lets her slow down and enjoy the intricacies of life with her family and friends.
Outside of work, she enjoys couch-rotting from time to time, drinking too much coffee, antiquing, and sampling all sorts of food at local restaurants.
